I have decided to start a blog for my wedding planning, cake designing, cupcake making, invitation producing business. I will get into the background of all of this and some more detail later. I will also upload some of my past work as I go along.
Today I start with the planning for a cake I for Monday that I wasn't expecting to make. We are having our office Thanksgiving celebration and I was going to make Oreo truffles, so yum!! A few minutes, I was asked if I could make a cake since we will be celebrating several birthdays as well. Of course, I said yes. Now, I have very little time over an already packed weekend to make a cake. I tossed around a few ideas and searched the web for some inspiration. I think I have decided on doing a bushel of fall leaves. I think that will be the quickest idea while still looking gorgoeus!!
Stay tuned tonight as I make the wood slats and leaves so they have enough time to dry. Off to buy supplies I go. Oh wait! I am still at work........
